I'm playing a guy from Ahr, and I was wondering what the stats for the Kopesh would be.

Thanks.

In my vast amount of knowledge, mostly acquired from watching The Mummy...

ok... _IF_ the movie was right about its shape and it being used 1-handed, then I would go for Falchion stats.  It doesn't look that good at parrying or thrusting, just chopping.

This of course is based on the rather questionable premise of the accuracy of a hollywood action movie.

Actually, you seem to be pretty accurate here.  I never saw 'the mummy,' but I guarantee you that the falchion is closest to the kopesh in terms of abilities.

The kopesh would probably have the "hook" maneuver, but I'm not sure.

Ooh, good call on the hook thing. Hadn't thought of that.

I played a warrior-priest from Numidia, and weilded a khopesh in a game with Jake at GenCon. And I used the falchion stats, which I think he was OK with. Actually, I modified it a bit, but more to refelct it's bronze composition than it's "khopeshness". Actually, in the end, I think we said it was "fine" which made it just like a steel Falchion. Hmm.
