Hi Ron,
Yeah. I figured as much. It would have been nice to have a nice pat answer for this, but there isn't so to heck with it.
Over time and several years of playing, I can say that some players' stuff turns out to be very important to the plot or story while other players' stuff is treated like it isn't ("you're walking down the street and you bump into your long-lost father" which basically meant I got to have a PC and NPC to roll for in combat like the rest of the players.)
