Want opinions on names (Realms of Eastden)

Well this may be double posted, not sure...

I am Familiar with L5R, both D20 and non-D20 versions. As well as some of the storyline.

My suggestion would be to pick several of Earths myths, and base each empire off a different one.  Try using different ones as well, like Korean or African or Finnish.  Try using their language as well, to what extent that you can translate.  I think you might find it interesting.

I'm actually trying to create a few languages- a la Tolkien. And what I'm doing is combining aspects from different cultures. I want to create cultures that feel familiar and different, and I think it will be fun to grab my favorite bits of culture from different civilizations/countries and put them together in new weird ways.
