CyberCon 2 - Seminars and Demos

Greetings, Not sure this is the right place to post this, but hopefully you guys won't mind...
CyberCon is the premier on-line role-playing convention! A weekend of
gaming, tournaments, guest speakers, seminars, art show, auction,
prizes, and more! CyberCon 2 pre-scheduling has started and it will be
held ONLINE during the weekend of Oct 19-22nd, 2001. We expect attendance
to exceed 1000. Also, CyberCon is now a quarterly event.
If you desire to have a booth at this virtual con, the rules are the
same as last time. Basically, we ask that you donate at least a $50
value of prizes and we will allow you to setup a booth that will be
open to the public (even non paid attendants) for several months. You
will also get one free pass to the con and be encouraged to man a
chat booth during the con. Involvment of you or your company can be
as little as just sending us prizes, but we'd prefer if you mail
the prizes to the winners directly and that you setup your own booth
at the con (simple as filling out online forms). If you had a booth
in the past it will still be in the database.
There are many improvements in this con over the last- but mainly the
introduction of subject tracks and a new highly automated website. We're
looking for seminars in the following tracks and if anyone wants to help
head-up a track and recruit speakers, please let us know.
- General (any subject of interest to the role-player)
- Player (topics on how to be a better player)
- GM (be a better GM, helpful tools, tips & tricks)
- Industry (how to get published, what to expect, what to do)
- Internet (online gaming, computer RPGs, virtual table tools)
We'd like to invite you all back to give a talk on whatever you feel
there is interest for. There is also plenty of room in our games
schedule now for beginner training events (demos) to help teach your
game system (if you have one to promote). We fully support the Indie
game companies.
For a sneak peek at the new CyberCon site (of course your comments are
always welcome) you can go here:

This con will be advertised in the October issue of Dungeon Magazine
and we hope to get more publicity from our online partners. Let us
know if you have some "connections" to help out in the PR department!
It would also be of great help if you could display a banner or button
on your site linking to ours (as for details).

Thank you for your time!
