Sorcerer-as-PBEM

I've been considering running Sorcerer as a PBEM - has anybody tried this before, and if so what works and what doesn't work? I'm considering a turn-based format - which rituals should be done via IC e-mails and which by turnsheeting? (I'm already considering doing Contacting via e-mail.)
