Wooo-hooo!

Holy cats! $100.00 for the special edition hardcover with your favorite rune on it. Hmmmm...

The only thing tougher than deciding on what rune is whether or not it's worth the additional $60 just for the Kewlness. Given that this is me (who likes his PDFs without art), that should indicate just how nifty I think this idea is.

Damn you Greg Stafford! :-)

Fortunately I ordered mine before I even noticed the hardcover, thus avoiding all temptation.

I'm in the same boat, but unfortunately temptation is rapidly overwhelming me.

A darkness rune and Greg Stafford's sig on a HC?

It's all too tempting.

I can't help it.  I'm a game geek.  Now that I've been buying less, I buy better.  What can I say?  I'm going to have a game about mythological roleplaying with the symbol for Amen Ra(Fire) on the cover.  I'll freak out my friends when they see this!

"Guy, you got a book with Amen Ra on the cover!"
"Yes."
(pauses, looks at cover, looks at me)
(smile)
(gingerly opens book afraid of weird mystic stuff will happen)
"Yes, now it begins"

I actually tried to order a copy, but my connection and/or browser kept doing Eurmal-y stuff. Something my bank account now thanks me for by containing just enough money for food for the month to come.

Bother!

I mean; you can live on books. Right?

Sure, if you put enough ketchup on them.
