Well, I've made the deadline I've set for myself; 1 week from getting back from Camp Williams, to be ready with ReCoil's playtest draft. It's still rough, certainly needs quite a bit of polish, maybe a little edge dressing and a light coat of parade gloss.. But it's serviceable for now, so here it is.

http://www.geocities.com/dariuswolfe/ReCoil.pdf

If you're willing to take a look at it and give me your comments, I'd appreciate that. If you're willing and able to pick it up and give it a playtest, I'd appreciate that a lot more.

Thanks to everyone who gave me comments and suggestions during development, and thanks in advance to everyone who's willing to give me a playtest.

(uploaded to Geocities because cox.net was giving me troubles. If anyone has a problem downloading from Geocities, let me know)

(insert much cursage about GeoCities here)

Geocities has some sort of bandwidth limit, and you've exceeded it.  Not sure exactly what to do about that, but obviously something needs to be done.  I totally sympathize on Cox being a hassle, though.

On the other hand, I'm local to you, so the next time we get together, I can get a printed copy.  I'll try downloading it again in, say, two or three hours, when hopefully the traffic has gone down.

I've checked it successfully a time or two.

If you're having trouble, try dropping the "http://" off the front of the URL. That's worked for me when I've had trouble.

edit: Or better yet, just go here:

Got it working now that I've gone away, and come back. This should give a lot less problems.

Well, I ran a playtest, and noticed something that was conspicuously missing; rules for Masking. It's mentioned in the Talent Cipher, but the actual rules themselves were missing, so I had to go in and fix the .pdf, as it's a somewhat important rule.

If you downloaded the file prior to this post, I'm going to have to ask you to do it again. I apologize for the inconvenience... But if it makes you feel any better, the playtest went well!

Also, it appears to be a fairly unwieldy file to open if you don't have broadband. You'd be best served to do a Save Target As on the link.
