This just goes to show why most every post should include the phrase "Your Mileage May Vary". If you bring something to the boards here that we find intriguing (and this is definitely that.. It's new, after all) we're going to discuss it until it's a dead horse, citing research, game granularity, benefit -vs- lack of benefit, etc. Take what you want from our discussions, add what you want to them, and remember that no matter what becomes consensus here, you should always feel free to ignore anything we say, or use anything we say, as befits your game.

New topics like this benefit the community as a whole because it allows those with specialized knowledge to share it, and new ideas and methods to be shared and formulated. We all gain from lengthy debate of new topics (although there are limits to everything..).

I appologize, I didn't mean to lash out at any person, or any idea.  Infact, bringing a new idea to discussion to help cultivate it.  Just because I'm not using some trained killing machine in this session, doesnt mean I wont later.   I'm growing fond of the idea of have a quest run involving some ancient assassin guild, with the best of training and experties.  Hashashins (sp?) anyone?

My outburst was the result of an unusually harsh day at work, and speaking of work, it is time for me to once more toil in the world of commercial aviation as well.  At least today looks to be an easy one.

YMMV.

Cool. I was training to be a driver. Had my multi and was working on my IFR when the industry got stepped on. I had passed the CFT and just had to write IFR & CAP and hit the sky. Oh well, have fun up there even when it becomes work ;)
