Thanks for the replies.
I still could not find anything regarding "native language". I noticed that on the sample character, there is no rating next to the characters language, so I am assuming that you never have to make a roll when attempting to use your native tongue.
Thanks again. I am really looking forward to getting a game of TROS off of the ground.

I would just assume you can alway communicate effectively in you native tounge. I would use ORATE instead for more dramatic effects like flowery language in front of the King...
