Not really sure where to put this...but hell, I know Josh Neff will be interested, at the very least!

Really interesting.

jared--
all i've read by jeff noon is his first 2 novels, "vurt" & "pollen" (which i both loved) & an interview w/ him that convinced me he's potentially one of my favorite authors...kind of like grant morrison w/out the chaos magic, or william gibson on acid...
i keep meaning to read more of his stuff ("automatic alice", "nymphomation", & "cobralingus")...

I suppose I can jump in here and put in a reccomendation for those three- The only things I haven't read are 'Pollen' and 'Pixel Juice'. Cobralingus is pretty damn cool, but you have to like 'pointless' experimental fiction. It's fiction written like experimental electronica bands (like Autechre, Aphex Twin, etc.) write their music. A previous correlation in literature would be Jack Kerouak's 'On the Road'- the original 'Jazz Novel'.
I found a webpage once from some guys in Jolly Ol' England that were making an RPG about 'Vurt'. Totally going about it the wrong way, from the looks of the bits of the info they'd posted up there... They'd come up with stats and classes for all the various races in the book (Robo, Shadow, etc.)- totally ignoring the fact that none of those things even existed...
