RepCover is a binding for softcover books that enables the book to open and lay flat. It's kind of a halfway point between Perfect binding and case binding.

Has anyone had any experience binding RPG books with RepKover?

Haven't tried it but here's a printer that does it.  Along with a bunch of other specialty print jobs.
