I've just started on my game idea. It's called "Vegas baby, Yeah!" and it's a game about excess and it's consequences set in Sin City, Nevada.

Here's the premise:

Vegas, Sin City.

Washed up, burnt out, a walking cliché.

Yeah, you draw the crowds and take the pay check.

But you should have retired gracefully years ago.

You know, back when the fame was good, a buzz.

Back before the bottle, heroin and fried food took its toll.

And life lost its edge.

Back before that bitch filed for divorce.

Before her lawyer got involved.

Before you screwed those crack whore groupies with gangbanger boyfriends.

Before you realised your manager was making more on your career than you ever have.

And you realised how much he likes to f**k with you for kicks.

Before you discovered how much fun you could have playing blackjack and roulette.

And you borrowed $500,000 from the mob to pay for your habit.

You've got till midday tomorrow to pay the mob back or it's a long walk into the desert and a bullet in the back of the head for you.

An ignominious end don't you think to a two times Grammy award winner, don't you think?

You've lost your way.

Life's journey has taken you down a dark path.

You need to find a way back.

And sort your life out.

Got a plan?

You better have, clocks ticking...

I love it.  I'm not sure how this game would play out with more that one player but I could see a Dirty World style game with 1 protagonists and several people all pounding on them (the ex-wife, the agent, the cops, the mod, the crowds, the press, the cocaine, etc).

Thanks Sean, thats the direction I'm looking at. One player playing the protagonist, the rest of the group playing the part of the antagonists.
