Greetings everyone. I've been lurking here for the past week reading up as much as I could on TROS. I ordered my compy of the core rules a few days ago and my regular group and I are eagerly awaiting it. We just finished our long running D&D campaign and want to try another game with a more realistic and satisfying rules system.

I was just wondering what the typical turnaround is for orders direct from Driftwood's site.

Thanks.

They get shipped the Monday after you order them, and depending on where you are in the world will take anywhere from a few days to 2 weeks from then to get to you.

Brian.

Thanks...I ordered last week and am in Maryland. So I guess I'll probably get the book sometime next week.
I'm hoping to do a practice game this Saturday using the Quickstart rules from the site to let us get the feel for the system. While we've all played a host of games in the past none of them have been as unforgiving of player error as Riddle of Steel seems to be. except maybe the old D10 Cyberpunk system. I've probably had more deaths in that game than in every other RPG I've played combined.
