It's not in the book; I've search the forum. I can't find any references. How do I create a one-use spell battery? It uses Imprisoning, it can be activated instantly, the object suffers all aging effects, it can hold powerful ritual spells, and lots of them. It seems to eliminate all the limitations on magic.
I think something so powerful needs to be defind, or else I will feel guilty using it, so here is what I came up with. Does this look right? What other ways are there to imprison spells?

Incantation of Containment
Spell of One
CTN: 4/5/6, 4/5/6 seconds
Target: 1 – Inanimate
Range: 1– Touch
Volume: 1 – Small object
Duration: 0 – Instant
Level: 1/2/3 – Imprisoning 1/2/3 (Magic 1/2/3)
This incantation must be made immediately after another spell is cast, binding the effect of the spell to be contained into an object such as a ring or staff, and defining a condition upon which the contained spell is activated. All the SP used to cast the contained spell are absorbed by the object and stored until the condition is met. Then those dice are used to power the spell and the effect determined, with the object itself suffering all aging. The sorcerer must be specific about the condition of activation and the target of the spell, as most inanimate objects are not capable of directing magical energies.
The level of Imprisoning used, and thus the CTN of the spell, is set to the highest vagary used in the spell to be contained. Success and aging are only checked for this incantation; if the incantation fails, the contained spell is wasted but the sorcerer has still used the SP dice alloted for it.

Check p. 121, dormant spells. It talks about using conquer for implanting spells in people, but later talks about objects. I'd just use these rules for single-use talismans created with imprison. Note that it states:

"They must be implanted via the Vagary of Conquer into the subject, in addition to successfully casting the spell (doing this as part of a Ritual spell will reduce the risk of aging succesfully)."

This means the original caster still ages when implanting a spell in this manner. The target object/creature also ages when the spell is cast, but this is in addition to the aging of the original caster.

The first page of this thread discused imprisoning spells into objects (before we started waffling on about aging et al).
