I'm looking for a translator for Palimpseste, a rpg I wrote. I need someone who likes odd words.
I can pay for that job...

You might ask Francois Levy at http://www.malcontentgames.com
His translation of the French game Reve du Dragons (I'm writing that from memory; might not be the exact title in French...) is quite good. I'm not sure he has the time or interest in doing more translation, but it couldn't hurt to ask...

If it's very short and you don't need it done very quickly I could do it.
My credentials are that I speak fluent French and have credits in the French Dying Earth game (five to be exact!).

Hum, I've had a look and a read and I think I'll pass. Sorry if I got your hopes up.
Two reasons really. One is that there is a lot of material written in a particular style and it would take me a month of Sundays to translate it. And the second is that I didn't really like it. I'm sure it's not without merit, it's just not my cup of tea.
Bonne chance, quand meme!
