Indie Friendly... because I'm in charge of the RPG section this year! Mwah-ha-ha-ha-haaaa!

Actually, that's a bit of a misnomer- They encourage you to run anything you want to run anyway. But this is my third year at the Con, and I've had nothing but good experiences over the past two years running Sorcerer, Dread, and other games.

This year, I'll personally be running FATE, Trollbabe, Sorcerer (1-2 sessions) and Dust Devils. Possibly My Life With Master if I can get a demo group set up. I also noticed other games, like Dread, going down too.

Anyway, it's gonna be some good fun. Feel free to come if you're in the area.

Just for shits and giggles, here's a list of the events I'm running:

===============

Game: FATE (Fudge)
Event: "The Chronicles of Vin Diesel"
Game Description
The Concept: You're Vin Diesel- And so is everyone else!

Come join in a lighthearted sci-fi trip in a world of enormous battleships, intergalactic cults, planets that defy geophysics, and explosions... oh yes, the Explosions.

This game will be run using the Fudge FATE system- Whether you're an RPG Novice or been playing for years, you'll pick it up in under 5 minutes.

No Vin Diesels were harmed in the production of this event.

=============

Game: TROLLBABE
Event: "Planescape: TIEFLING!"
Part of the "Demo Day" suite of RPG events- Come give a new game a try!

The Peanut Butter: Planescape- One of the most popular, unique fantasy game settings for dungeons and dragons. Populated by plane-hopping rugged half-breed characters called "Tieflings".

The Chocolate: The Trollbabe gaming system, an easy to learn (5
minutes) system that focuses on Story Now, Story First. The players are the directors of the action and events in this game.

Planescape: Tiefling- We will put our Chocolate in your Peanut Butter.

You don't need to be familiar with the system to play- We will create characters together and go over the system, which will take very little time. Novice players, fans of the Planescape setting, or people who prefer the story aspects of roleplaying are welcome to join!

=============

Game: SORCERER
Event: "Gun Dream: Apocalypse!"
Game Description
Mad Max meets martial arts in this action-packed post-apocalyptic RPG!

A secret vault, containing the frozen bodies of suvivors of the Third World War, has remained sealed for several hundred years. Tonight, it opens, and what comes out will change the world forever!

This is the Third Year of this Trinoc-Con gaming event! Gun Dream:
Apocalypse uses the Sorcerer system, which is extremely easy to learn- Beginning players are welcome.

==============

Game: DUST DEVILS
Event: "Dust Devils: Bullets Hurt"
Game Description
Part of the "Demo Day" suite of RPG events- Come give a new game a try!

Something's got the mayor of Venice, Wyoming spooked. Outlaws have come into town, which is nothing new. But a series of events have been put into play that threaten to burn Venice from the very face of the Earth. Will the players control their Inner Devil enough to put things back in order- Or will they be the ones that tear it all apart?

This quick game will be run using the easy-to-learn Dust Devils system (which uses cards and poker chips instead of dice), winner of the 2002 Indie RPG Awards.
