I had the pleasure of reading this to two kindergartenners today and couldn't help but think that Max was a Sorcerer.

If I were to run Grade-School Sorcerer again it would be far more influenced by Where the Wild Things Are than Changeling or Fairy Tales.

Heh, I just read through the Wizard of OZ for my future GM (alex, 5) and damn if Dorothy doesn't summon up three helpers with strong Needs to get her what she wants...

Plus, you know, winged monkeys. Nothing so good it can't be improved with winged monkeys

That is my all time favorite childrens book. Second place is The Wild Baby.

You know, I think I will go buy that book today.

Telltale: White Wild Thing Suit

Absolutely.

I believe it is one of my favorites too.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to use that book when I next run Grade School Sorcerers, down to having it out when we create characters.
