[OctaNe] Art House Ideas...
So, after finally getting my grubby little paws on a copy of OctaNe, I've decided to run an Art House style game.
Now, before I even got into the details of my chronicle, I paid serious attention to the Rule of Rock n' Roll and spent a good 4 days gathering the proper music.
With this, the most vital step, completed, I set to actually writing the background for the game. I started with picturing something that looked "cool". I got an image of Death in my head as a black-winged angel in acid-wash jeans and a leather jacket with dead-black hair and looking generally pissed off as he walked around the corner of a wooden shack and drew a pistol - cool as a cucumber - and fired into the 4th wall.
This lead to a series of thoughts and ideas on Death and eventually the Apocalypse. And it got me to thinking about the Seven Signs. Now this lead to me thinking "Let's do the Seven Signs, OctaNe style."
So I thought for a moment and only got a few vague ideas and wanted some in-put from you kind folks out there.
The ideas I came up with are...
The First Sign: The King of the Lost shall fall, mourned in song and sequin by his worshippers.
The idea of James Dean raising from the dead to lead some kind of revolution.
Rob Zombie being the herald of the end of the world, and eventually challenging Death.
Also, I need to figure a way to tie the players into this and not just have it happen to them on the side-lines. Any ideas?

First, you might want to check out the official OctaNe forum:

Second, you shouldn't have to tie the PCs in. That whole section on how the players should co-operate with the GM? Take that seriously, and make sure your players do, too. You shouldn't over-prepare for OctaNe -- it's supposed to be a very impovisational game.
