Hey all,

I'm writing an application that allows you to enter the towns you create for your Dogs to visit. I'm still tweaking things here and there, but if you point your browser (for now, it seems pretty dependent on IE) here, you can see what I have so far. I'd be keen to see it get some use and to hear your comments.

This grew out of thinking that it'd be cool to have a central location for DitV players to share their towns and play experiences. But I realize that'll only happen if it's comfortable. So if you have any suggestions for refinement, I'd love to hear those too.

It looks very cool so far, and I'm using firefox. I'll try the functionality later, but for now, nicely done.

The most immediate thing is when you're entering data, in the big fields like town description and NPC details and stuff. In IE, the text boxes are 100% wide and 144 or 72 px tall. Mozilla renders them as pathetic little things. There are some other minor stuff that I'm figuring out, but the text boxes are the big thing.

I did .NET development in kind of a funny MS-shop for a couple years where I never had to worry about the requesting browsers on our intranet, so I'm just starting at the very beginning of trying to resolve these issues. Oh, and there's more that I don't know, than that I do, so it's always a (slow) learning experience.

This is really, really cool.

I will surely add in the towns I've written as soon as I have a moment.

I posted the 3 towns I have made up so far.

I can't wait to see other's towns or hear about how towns I've made up play out on other tables. Fantastic.

I am also thinking about my 4th town actually being a train ride. Should be a neat change of pace for the group.

Very nice tool Christopher, that rocks! I love how you enabled people to add their own stories to other's towns.

That's a pretty sweet NPC generator too.
