I have an etiquette question for the mods:

I want to post an essay/topic in Theory about something I'd like some input on regarding miniatures and rping. I'd like to use some links to sites that sell minis as they are the minis I used in actual play or minis that illustrate some points I want to bring up. While it isn't absolutely essential to the post I'm working on ( I could describe the general idea), visual aids are useful.

What is the general feeling on this sort of thing? Is a disclaimer appropriate to the effect that I'm not in any way pushing goods by any particular company/retailer? Or is that unnecessary as readers are assumed to be able to make their own decisions regarding their money?

Thanks for the advice,
Robert

Hiya,

It's easy - just post links to the images. That way, your discussion points will be preserved here, and if anyone wants to deal with the images in their original-locale commercial sense, they can do so on their own.

You won't be reproducing the images anywhere or bringing them up in a marketing sense. I think it'll be fine.

Best,
Ron
