Hey Jared, you checked out the Bambi Molesters? They're a Croatian surf-rock band. Heard 'em live today; it reminded me of the Red Elvises, which reminded me of Six String Samurai, which reminded me of OctaNe.

Just d'led "The Last Ride" and it's pretty good.

Of course, all surf rock is appropriate for octaNe. :) Speaking of which, I'm putting the finishing touches on it even as we speak (er, type). The only thing left to do is final edits, layout, art (paging Jeff Diamond!) and figure out how many Roles to include.

There are over 40 octaNe Roles and 30 pulp Roles -- the pulp stuff feels right on, but I dunno about 40+ octaNe Roles. Perhaps a run-off is in order?

Well, I've always been of the opinion that more choices is better, myself...

I second that. For most players, there's no such thing as too much "character classes". (Pardon that. I know that roles not equal classes, but you know what I mean...)
