Kayfabe Hardcover
I will have some hardcover copies of Kayfabe available at Gencon. I only plan on bringing about a dozen, unless there is a big demand for it. So now is the time to request one before I send in the print order.
The hardcover will sell for $20
Regular print version sells for $15

How many pages is it? I'm definitely picking up a revised copy but I'm not a big fan of hard covers on thin books.

At the moment it's 80 pages, but I'm working on adding a few pages (no more than 12) of supplemental stuff like sample characters, a glossary and whatever else i can think of that may be useful.

P.S.
any chance Robots and Rapiers will be ready for GenCon?

Unfortuneately no. The realities of the big promotion I got in December have severely cut into the time I can dedicate to it.
But I will say that the game is IMO about 10x better today then the version I brought to GenCon last year. Much progress has been made. Alot of the kludgy obstacles I had been thrashing with have been pretty dramatically streamlined and early playtests have suggested they work pretty well. Its just very slow going finding time to actually write all of the text.
If I took a week off of work and dedicated myself to finishing, and did pretty much no external playtesting, I could probably get it to GenCon. But the nice thing about being indie is we don't have to cut corners like that. So...much as I would love to have a spiffy hard cover full color new game to parade around the booth with I'd rather release it when its really done. Which may yet be by the end of the year, maybe.
Odds are very good (translation: I'll be really disappointed if I don't) that I'll have a revised version of Universalis available for Gen Con, however.
