If you do, I've got some good news for you. Look at this:

http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss2;sa=recent;limit=10

Interesting, huh?

See a detailed discussion on how you can pull RSS feeds from the Forge at http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=25009.0

This is working fine for me via Bloglines.  I was wondering though if there was a way, either on The Forge end or mine, to have the feed consistently show the name of the post's author, as that'll often be a factor in whether or not I click through and read the whole post.

I'm using the rules in your link to generate a forum-specific feed to read through Bloglines. I'll let you know how that goes.

The forum-specific feed I constructed is working perfectly through Bloglines. Thanks!

Would you mind sharing the formula for that feed?  I looked at the thread Clinton linked to,
but my reading comprehension is apparently rather low today....

This is the feed I built for the lumpley games forum: http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/index.php?action=.xml;type=rss2;sa=recent;board=44.0;limit=10

I got the board number from the URL and the rest is the same as Clinton's general feed. I hope this helps.

nice, except of course for the fact that post content is truncated in the feed.  I reviewed the documentation that was referenced and there doesn't seem to be an option to undo this annoying behavior.
