Welcome to the playtest forum for Stranger Things
This is a hidden forum right now, so we can conduct some focused playtesting and discussion with a few select people. The forum will become public after the game is released in mid/late August.
Feel free to chime in here and say hello. I'll post a new topic with a link to the playtest PDF later tonight.
I'll continue to post updates on game progress to the blog, as well: http://mightyatom.blogspot.com

Hi John,
Didn't know I was part of that "select group", but thanks! I just downloaded it and will be reading it today :)

Yeah, Chris... you're part of the "forced volunteer" group (along with Vincent and some others). It is a great honor, that also comes with a special hat and sash to set you apart from the common man.
Thanks for taking a look.

Oh, and please don't be afraid to be critical of the game in terms of RPG theory stuff -- especially your "Making Round Wheels" design guidelines, Chris.

I figured that's why you included me! :)
I like hats and sashes btw.

Hats and sashes are cool, but can I get one of those blue furry hats with the crescent moon on it like Fred Flintstone used to wear? If so, I'd like to be known as "The Grand Poobah" from now until the end of time.

Uhh, hello? Is this thing on?
Hmm, how did I miss the note that you'd be posting the PDF here? All day long I've been wondering when you'd mention on the Mighty Atom or in email that it was available.
Well, I'll have to give it a read-through tomorrow.
Also, pretty fancy forum they've got here. I'm impressed with all the included buttons - always nice to see a forum package that supports Macs too, instead of relying on the Windows-IE hegemony - though I do have to protest the inclusion of a "marquee" button. No one should be allowed to use that.

So off-topic, so I'll keep it short:
Me, the dude who runs the forums, uses a Mac. Windows can screw itself.
I agree about the marquee button.

Hi John,
Thanks again for including me in this group. Read the rules over quickly while taking care of the kids today. Will get a closer look tonight and give some feedback soon (probably tomorrow).
