No, not at all. Humanity is a metagame concept, not an in-game, even when you roll it when the character tries to do something. It plays exactly the same role as theme music in most movies.

Is it cool for the players to look at another player's or even an NPC's character sheet, realize they are teetering on the edge of losing their last Humanity point and try to stop them because they are "on the edge'?

My answer to this would be, whatever made for a fun bang is good with me but I'm just curious what ya'll thought.

It's cool according to me and the folks I play with. We do that all the time when playing Sorcerer.

I have a very hard time understanding when or how it wouldn't be cool. Who wants to limit the theme music for a character to just one listener?

Best,
Ron

Theme music is a great way to describe it.

That really made its role at the table click into place for me.

Better late than never.
