I'm recommending Humble Mythologies for the second time in so many days. Must be sunspots. You can find Jonathan's design threads on this forum. That's one of the deepest applications of symbolism in rpgs I've seen.
Other than that... I like the color, but that's because I'm fond of magic. Not enough rules yet to say anything about the game design. The elemental symbolism feels constraining, but that's probably because it's so commonplace. You'll have to prove to me that it can be exciting as well.

That's the funny thing about symbols. There's so many different ways to use them. :)
