We seem to have been visited by a rash of people who seem to think they can publish our games better than we can, and who have been posting with offers to "help."

From the perspective that informs the existence of this entire website, most such offers are merely theft.

I am considering treating such posts as spam and removing them to the Inactive File, but on the off-chance that anyone might actually find an equitable and useful offer, from a self-publishing perspective, I'll hold off on that for now.

Talisman Studios looks to be one of the possible "good" ones, in that it offers services rather than "hey, let us own your stuff." Sorry about that guys, I almost made you look bad.

To be fair and clear, though - this is not an endorsement. Every publisher needs to examine such offers without being romanced by the whole "hey, you're a creative guy, let us do the work" pitch, and to consider just what the details mean for ownership.

Glad to hear I didin't make us sound like a scary fly-by-night holier-than-thou company!

We really are just a couple of guys who enjoy handling the administrative end of things (don't ask me why...;) ) who have tried to help bring some artists, writers, editors, and layout folks together.

And yeah, we're pretty much against the "let us own your stuff" model. I'd be worried about any publisher who wanted to act that way in the RPG market, anyway. But that's just me.
