Hey, I just finished reading PTA, 1st ed. I bought it several months ago, along with DitV and TSOY. It's just taken me a while to get to it.

Man, it's tight. It seems like it will do everything I was trying to do in a game I wrote but more succinctly and effectively. I'm really intrigued by the Budget-Fan Mail Ecosystem. I'm very interested to see how that plays out. You firm up a lot of minor points in my approach to this type of play: all scenes begin as requests, the producer establishes the scene with two-to-three sentences and then the players take over, the producer plays supporting cast, high die wins narration rights, etc. Things that probably seem obvious to you that are the missing concrete for my efforts.

Aside from buzz, the main reason I bought the game is Vincent's "why the hell aren't you playing it right now?" endorsements. And I see what he's on about. Even though I haven't played it yet, which I'll shortly remedy, it impresses me as the BRP of narrativist games.
