I hope this doesn't waste anyone's time, but I had this idea that is very definately goofy non-profit stuff and I hoped someone would cotton to it.
(The last three ideas I've put out here have kinda fizzled.)
Anyway, what about approaching the Cthulhu Mythos from a reverse, Disneyfied point of view?
The players could be spunky underdogs at little Miskatonic U. who find out that their terrible antecedants give them unique ways to cheat in the upcoming game against Rutledge, thus saving the old M.U. from someone who plans to turn it into a mall or, even worse, a casino!
Heroes from the Lovecraft milieu could easily translate into mean Wonderful World of Disney villains, like stuffy old Professor Armitage or that sinister land developer with all the dogs, Mr. Akeley (played by Keenan Wynn. I guess Armitage would be played by Hans Konreid and Roddy McDowell could take up the slack, in your imagination, of the average effete Lovecraftian hero, like Randy Carter.)
There would, of course, be charming side trips, replete with musical numbers, to Devil's Reef and the Starry Hill Cemetary (perhaps the Dreamlands are animated sequences!)
I wonder who the two thugs employed by the bad guy would be? You know, the tall, dumb one and the short, fat loudmouth?
Perhaps someone has already developed a game like this or is in the process of developing it? I'd love to discuss it.
I have a few ideas for a system I'm calling "plucky" that would work for this. It relies on a rather formulaic plot pattern, which ends with the PCs either triumphantly embarrassing (scaring away) the bullying villains or getting trounced, licking their wounds, and trying again.

I think the problem isn't that you have bad ideas. It's that this isn't a forum for posting ideas.
That may change. There's been discussion of adding an "idea forum". But the expectation for this particular forum is that you are requesting help on an RPG you are currently designing. In the sticky for this forum, it states that posting to this forum is tantamount to a commitment to publishing a game, either commercially or just tossing it up on the web for free.
So, looking at what you posted: it looks like you want to play the Disney Dean Jones movies (Monkey's Uncle, Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Strongest Man In The World) with Cthulhu Mythos color. Nothing wrong with that idea; there are a couple games in development here that are similar in spirit or could be used for such a game. Heck, I'd play it.
But what's your question? Where is *your* game? What do you imagine the players and characters doing in this game? Don't just post an idea and expect everyone else to do the work for you. DO THE WORK. And if you have trouble, we'll help you through the rough spots.

Well, thanks for the lecture, talysman. But I have posted a game for discussion here and it definately fizzled (it was Storyville.) I published it as far as I'm gonna (a web page for general perusal.) Nothing came of it. Nothing probably will come of it.
What I'd like is maybe someone to point out a game system that this idea of mine would work with that's here? Or even better, someone who thinks this is a good enough idea to work with me on it?
If I was gonna do games alone, I wouldn't bother coming to the forge. There'd be no point. I can work on my own just fine.
