I was just reading Paul's starting situation stuff and I see the problem he needs to solve.

Every time I think about this game, I imagine the characters are all working for the same evil megacorporation with Ephachta as CEO.

This sort of turns the game into the Dilbert game of occult evil, or something between Dilbert and Wall Street and H.P. Lovecraft and Hellraiser.

Anyway, I'm trying to read the game as written and provide useful feedback on that, but I cannot stop thinking about this game as one in which all the evil occultists are well-scrubbed members of the same megacorporation, vying for the same executive suite. So all the ideas I think of for Paul are ideas for a game I don't actually think he's writing, although it's related in some ways.

This is probably my hangup but it doesn't do any harm to share, I don't think.
