Jared, by that do you mean it's 3x the size in terms of memory, or in terms of actual physical size -- that is, "print size"?

If it's the former, you may want to consider bringing down the resolution to 233 dpi or even as low as 150 (depending on the image). This obviously reduces file size, which can get right up there when you use 300 dpi images, esp. large ones. So long as you're trying to print copies to sell/handout/whatever, why worry about file size? If you can get it to Kinkos, via Zip, CD-R or even download on their machines, they should have no problem being able to print.

If your problem is the later -- that is, the image is wider/taller than the old one, you need to resize the image, likely using Photoshop. When you do this, take care not to change the resolution. What you reall want to change is PRINT SIZE. Figure out what the old image's print size is, and replicate that on the new one WITHOUT changing resolution (unless you really want to!) or "screen size."
