Is there any way to make the actual shown character string be 250 characters long, instead of what we put in the field? I'm asking due to the added length that URL code adds.
I'm assuming not, since I've never seen it anywhere, but it's worth asking, since it's usefulness is great!

One way to keep URL length down is to use TinyURL.
