Same as always: Film. Book. Game. Your last of each. Aw heck, I'll add a new one: Good Meal and/or Drink.

Film: V for Vendetta (excellent)
Book: Latro in the Mist, Gene Wolfe (excellent)
Game: TSOY: Freebooters
Good Meal: Honest-to-god Chicken Fried Steak at the Blue Onion. Almost covered the plate. This is a rare find in Seattle.
Good Drink: The perfect Maker's Mark Manhattan, at Sambar.

Film: Peter Jackson's King Kong on DVD. (I can't remember the last time I went to the theater.)
Book: The Living Shadow, the first story of The Shadow. I'm currently reading Carter Beats the Devil and it's damn good.
Game: Wild Talents. The people I played with were great. The game itself? Didn't really do it for me.
Good meal: I made tuna noodle casserole last night and it was quite good. My daughter had three helpings, and she usually doesn't even have seconds at a meal, so it must've been halfway decent.
Good drink: KC Roasterie coffee is very good. I had some this morning.

Book: (still reading) Mircea Eliade's History of Religious Ideas

It just occured to me: the last RPG I played was Wild Talents, but the last game I played was Pirate's Cove, and it rocked.

Book: Ceremony, by Leslie Marmon Silko, for school.
Game: A homebrew I'm calling Sefer for now
Meal: The last really good meal that I actually remember anything about was, like, four months ago, at this Korean dumpling place in NYC. I've probably -- definitely -- had good food since then, but I don't recollect it, so it can't really count then, can it? No it can't.

Game (RPG): Shock: Social Science Fiction
Game (analog): Memoir 44
Good Meal: Pasta dumplings with pear and gorgonzoa, with spinach/walnut raviolli, at Vespa in Cary. Other than that, every goddamn meal my wife makes. For real. Her cooking is so good it once killed a guy.
Good Drink: Homemade ice coffee, mixed with a little vanilla and soymilk.

Movie: V for Vendetta (great film, but some serious flaws)
Book: American Gods by Niel Gaiman (super yarn, great balance between the humorous and creepy, awesome characters)
Game: Well, darn, a week earlier and I could have said PTA and sounded like a real Forgite. :) But actually, Big Eyes Small Mouth in a fantasy setting. (It's a campaign that was on hiatus for like a year, I had a hard time revving up the engine. ALso I think my frustration with the group's playing style is starting to show through.)
Meal: Had the Burrito Relleno at Mazatlan last week. The thing's like a huge tasty brick, and made good leftovers for the next day.
Drink: Had a nice glass of MacTarnahan's Ale at McCool's Irish Pub, on St. Pats, which is my Birthday. the factors mentioned (plus the drinking songs) made it taste all the better. Before that, an Irish Car Bomb (shot of whiskey and Irish Cream dropped into a glass of Guinness, then drained on the spot) at Kells Irish Pub, on someone else's birthday.

RE: Re: Come as you are: The Revenge!

Film:    Inside Man, instead of, unfortunately, V for Vendetta.
Book:  Ou Lou Khen and the Beautiful Madwoman, by Jessica Amanda Salmonson.  Highly Excellent.  Also in the middle of The Pound Era, by Hugh Kenner.  A work of freakin' genius.
Game: The Shab-al-Hiri Roach.  Yummy fun.
Meal:   A swordfish steak at Fulton's Seafood in Downtown Disney.  Plus we had an Arabic waiter who was pretending to be Italian...
Drink:  12 yr. old Dalmore scotch.  Oh so smooth.

Film: Spellbound.  I liked it quite a bit; eight kids off to the National Spelling Bee, struggling and persevering.
Book: Revelation Space by Alastair Reynolds.  The editting's bad... lots of poorly telegraphed POV transitions-- but the universe finally hooked me.  (There were several near abandonment moments.)
Game: WEG StarWars. We just started-- last Friday was our first night.  It was rocky-- no one was providing much for others to work from-- but the session ended with some good characterization and our alt. nights GM being enthusiastic.
Good Meal: Homemade pizza with chicken & feta cheese.
Good Drink: Tetley tea is worth the difference in price.  I was burning out on Tea until I stumbled on it.

Film (at cinema): Transamerica. Definitely rated.
Film (at home): A night at the opera. Just superb, and I haven't seen it since I was wee.
Book: Ug - you know what? The last book I read through (excluding rules) was my thesis back in september. The last fiction was The Scar (Mieville) in August. Currently proofing my brothers excellent but lengthy historical novel, which has something to do with it..
Game: PTA - Kin
Good Meal: South Indian cooking at Rasa - Sagara Rasam (seafood soup) and Chemmeen Masala - (Chilli prawn dish) with parathas.
Good drink: Not so much. Cider - Magners, mainly.

Film: Lord of the Rings Part III (Mid-Excellent. The closest movie theater is 2 hours away.)
Book: To Have or Have Not (again, excellent this time around, but not Hemingway's best. He tries to add theme to the book in at the end.  Doesn't work, IMHO.)
Game: Inspectres
Good Meal: Real authentic Mexican on the beach in Zihuatanejo (Best meal I've ever had. Period.)
Good Drink: Corona at the above mentioned meal. Nothing better on a beach in Mexico hiding from the sun under a cheap plastic tarp while sitting at a plastic table and watching the boats in the bay sway in the swells.

Movie: The Legend of Zorro (My son really, really wanted to see it. Unfortunately, it lived up to my expectations, I wouldn't reccommend it.)
Book: I've been perusing my son's Arthur Spiderwick books.  Highly reccommend them for fantasy RPG ideas and setting.
Game: D20 Star Wars <sigh>  Fun, but I'd like to get out Heroquest.
Good Meal:  Some garlic, rosemary salmon I made... melts in the mouth!
Good Drink:  Rootbeer float... is that a drink?
