Moderators,
I have not made it clear so far what the responsibilities of having a forum on The Forge are, and think I should at this point.
Having a forum on The Forge makes you responsible for giving a certain amount of your time to the forum, and maintaining a certain level of activity. Particularly:
- You should read your forum at least once a week.
- Questions about your game should be answered within one week. These questions may be answered by you or another party; however, you should be aware of the questions, at a minimum.
- The status of your game should be noted within your forum. If your game is nearing production, that should be noted. If your game has reached a crucial point in its development, that should be noted. If your development has reached a standstill, whether temporary or permanent, that should be noted.
- There should, at a bare minimum, be one new thread a month in your forum. If this is not started by another member, find an interesting topic and post on it.
If these minimum requirements are not met, Ron and I will contact you and discuss the future of your forum. The Forge is not a place for forum bloat, especially a bloat of inactive forums. If we cannot contact you, we will decide the future of your forum on our own.
Hopefully, the moderator of a forum can start activity on their inactive forum. If not, the forum may be considered "done" and may be locked for the sake of reference, then shuffled to the bottom of the forum listing.

Clinton,
I was thinking of having a page of "inactive forums," so that they were not present on the main page. My picks would be Review Discussion, possibly Elfs (sniff), and Wicked Press. What do you think? Is this physically possible, to separate out the forums onto a different page?
Best,
Ron

Unfortunately, it's not physically possible. I can put them into a different category, or shuffle them to the bottom of the page.

Why not incorporate Elfs and Sorcerer into an Adept Press forum? Makes sense to me...

That was my Plan B, as it turns out. Doin' my bit to cut down on the unnecessary forum count at the Forge ...
Best,
Ron

I just want to confirm: Ron, I can combine Sorcerer and Elfs into an Adept Press forum, right? When you confirm - I'll do this today.

Hey, that's fine by me. I like the idea. No one has ever accused me of being "Mr. Greedy Two-Forum Man" ... but you know, I have always accused myself of it. So let's do the combination.
Best,
Ron

That would make sense. So there would be General, Active Game Fora, Inactive Game Fora, and Usergroup Fora?
I've been wondering if there were any further categorizations that could be made.
