Greetings All,

My Name's Derek Hand, I'm from Pueblo, Co. and have been wanting for many years to break into the Freelancing market. I haven't posted on this site in a long while since I've had little exposure to it, but I love Indie Games and figured it'd be a good idea :)

I recently did my first professional work on the upcoming Fallout d20 PnP RPG (Artwork from which can be found further down in this post)

Since I am now a paid, and soon to be published artist I thought I should post my official intro

I don't have much formal training, I've taken art classes every school year since Middle School, and took several art classes during my 2 semesters at the local community college. That's all my formal training. I've learned a lot from my mom who is a kick-butt artist and I think she's taught me more than most of my art teachers (Except you, Miss Goodenough, you rock!!!)

I work primarily in pencils but recently tried a new technique encorporating hand-drawn lines and digital shading(which I used on all 8 of my fallout images). I have also done graphic design and designed several character sheets, as well.

Inspirations include the late Keith Parkinson(Rest in peace man), Micheal Whelan, Frazetta, Jim Lee, and many others.

Okay, so, enough with that. I'm here to also whore myself out for art work :D If you like what you see below and think I'd be good for your project(or your project would be good for me. I'm always willing to experiment) please let me know :) I absolutely enjoyed working on the Fallout project and cannot wait to take on my next one.

It's good to have you here. However, please don't post any more images, because this site isn't a gallery. You can include a link to your webpage at Deviantart, and you can include links to specific images (send me a private message if you're not sure about the coding for that).

Over the next day or so, I'll be altering your two posts above to turn the images into links.

Sorry, I didn't know. There wasn't anything in the guidelines about that, I just thought it'd be easier then making people search through my whole gallery, but no worries.
