There are a bunch of things that every Forge egg will have to figure out. Let's share experience so we're not all running around and looking stuff up. Please post with references so we don't just wind up quoting errors.

Here are some questions that others can answer and other others will want answered:

• Where did that floor tiling come from last year? Are there better places to get it? It was a real boon to our feet and knees.
• How do we determine where we get placed? I understand Ron's points help us get placed. Is there anything we have to do to help that process?
• What's the story with electrical power? Does every place with lights have its own battery and DC/AC converter?
• Am I correct that there's a certain amount of furniture that you have to deal with? Or do you rent it from the convention center? Or what?
• What's the process for credit cards? Can we somehow piggyback on IPR?
• How necessary is a cash register? If it's more worth it than not (they run around $100) then what's a good one for the 10-20 product range we're talking about?
• I can't seem to track down the booth pricing, though the following is rumored true:

Standard 10X10 $1,095
Corner 10X10 $1,290
TCG/Minis Hall 10X10 $1,320
End cap 10X20 $2,640
4-booth peninsula 20X20 $5,335
6-booth peninsula 30X20 $7,645
8-booth peninsula 40X20 $10,035
10-booth peninsula 50X20 $12,430

It will probably be easiest if questions are posted here, then split into their own threads and linked so the answers don't get jumbled up.

Drop me a line about credit card processing, it's possible I can help you out.

My question: is wireless internet available in the exhibitor's hall?  Cause if it (and electricity) is available, what's stopping me from processing orders through my webpage on a laptop?  That way I can take credit cards through Paypal.  Am I missing some essential roadblock in there?

Joshua,

Wi-fi in the exhibit hall costs approximately the GDP of Paraguay.
