RPG Search Engine
Hello guys,
I don't know if this is the best place for that, but I'd like to present to you my Google co-op RPG Search Engine, in http://rpgsearchengine.googlepages.com/ . I don't know if you guys here in the Forge already know a project like this, if you do, I'd like to know about it too and help (and probably narrow my project a little more).
For those who don't know google co-op, basically is a google search specific for listed sites. This way, your search is not that broad, but you receive more focused results. Also, less google spam makes everyone happy. If you can help by giving me feedback, it will be appreciated. Also, I need other sites to be listed, as my initial list is still small (almost 300). You can also register as a contributor (needs a Google Account) and add the sites yourself.
Thanks a lot!
(Anand) Daniel Araujo.

Googlepages?
Has anyone else heard of this?
Or is this something to be leery of now that Google is a payment processor? I'm having a difficult time seeing google coming to the forge to advertise this, but ya never know, I've been surprised before.

RE: Re: RPG Search Engine
Nah, it's a personal project of mine. I'm just hosting the front page in googlepages. The search engine is, of course, provided by google, but it's not their project. Eventually I can buy a www.rpgsearchengine.com, but I'm kinda short of money... :)
Try it, and send me feedback if you can. It will be appreciated!

RE: Re: RPG Search Engine
Googlepages is free web hosting from Google.
Daniel has created a "custom search engine" (a kind of filter on the regular Google Search), and is merely hosting that on his Googlepages.
This has nada to do with Google Checkout, which I would be promoting here, if it weren't tacky. If anyone has any questions about how to use Checkout, I would be happy to answer them, either by PM or otherwise, since I work on (internally) documenting it. So, a Googler is already here, but just not proselytizing ('cos that might be tacky).

I'm trying to internationalize the RPG Search Engine a bit. If you guys have nice suggestions of non-english pages, please send the URLs to rpgsearchengine@anand.com.br.
Thanks a lot,
Daniel.
