Hey folks. Ken Hite mentioned this elsewhere, and I wanted to pass this along, so I contacted him and got his permission to do so.
Beyond the whole "what indie games are going to be debuting at GenCon" thing, we also have the many-children-of-the-Forge-booth booths happening this year. I'd encourage the organizers from each of those to contact Ken so he knows you're out there and can talk about you in the GenCon program. I imagine inclusion would go a LONG way towards making sure that some of the new booths get the foot traffic they'll very much need.
Here's Ken's message.
Hello, all,
Can it be that time again already? Apparently so.
As in years past, it is my not particularly onerous burden to describe "The New Hotness" in 750 words for the GenCon Indy program book.
Anyone with a product of any sort (RPG, CCG, minis, dice, boardgame, accessory or accoutrement, Next Big Thing, Last Big Thing, whatever) that will debut at GenCon Indy, please do let me know off list. The more info you provide me, and the cooler your hotness seems, the better the chance you have of getting a mention in the book, but as with all of life, there are no guarantees.
Thanks much,
Kenneth Hite

You say deadline but then don't say when.
Do we have that info? I understand ASAP is really prefered here, but just so we know.

Heh. I know I put that in there, and I know it was built on a sense of urgency (sooner = better) from Ken, but there wasn't a specific date given. Then again, I couldn't edit the post to correct the title after it was made. :)
