Would you like to set back and just design games for a living?  Would you like someone else to spend their money on printing, advertising and promoting your games.  Would you like your games to be sold through Alliance Distribution, Diamond Comics, and 30+ other distributors worldwide?  Then maybe Rapid POD has a deal for you!!!

We are looking to form strategic alliances with a few companies who have the ability to create genius product.  You get to keep your designs, we pay you 40% of collect monies (bi-weekly), we share a duel logo on the back of each product, and everyone is a winner!

So, what’s the catch?  You have to produce some damn fine product.  Once we get the product—ready to print— then we take care of the rest.

Current Advantages of Publishing with Rapid POD
— In House Print Capabilities
— We pay for the printing
— Current Gaming Advertising budges over 50k for 2007
— We pay for your advertising and promotions
— Alliance Distribution Fulfillment Agreement
— We do all the money collecting and payments
— You get paid by-weekly

If you are interested in our program, please drop me an e-mail so we can talk.

Thanx,
Ken Whitman

Each Design House will be given a budget allotted based on reactions from sales reps at Key Distribution companies. Rapid POD will then base an ad campaign based around this amount.

Obviously with RPG’s doing 200 to 600 units in the first 30 days, the budget will be lower then someone producing a card game that has the potential to sell 1500 units out the door.

All advertising, budgeting, graphic design, price point setting, etc. will be determent by Rapid POD.

However, Rapid POD is not Blindly picking up publishers like a consolidator would. We are going to be picky and only carry the companies or writers with good track records. As far as new guys go, they better come with a great business plan or some product concepts that know our blocks off. We may work with 4-9 clients at most.

Last thing, the companies we choose to work with may or may not be picked based on WHO we choose. We obviously wont work with 6 companies making Fantasy games. Will look at different departments, i.e.- kids games, kooky games, sci-fi, fantasy, giant robots, etc. So if some companies don’t get chosen, it wont be because they were not any good, they might not fit the group dynamic.

Hope that answers questions,
Ken

This post isn't valid for the Forge.

Your proposed deal does not meet the criteria for "creator-owned" which defines the site, as it takes away policy control from the author. As you've been around long enough to know what the Forge is about, your posting is not acceptable.

This thread's closed - no posting to it by anyone, please.

Best, Ron

Dear Ron,

I would like to apologies for the post. I guess I felt that I could slip threw the crakes because everyone we publish still owns the game, copyrite, etc.—They are in full control the games itself.

Because its a unique way to get published, I thought it was appropriate for the Forge.  Once again, my apologies.

No posting means no posting. I am a literal person.

When anyone is concerned about moderation or wants to respond about it, you may send me a PM or post in the Site Discussion forum if you want it to be public.

Do not post to closed threads. This is literal and definite.

Best, Ron
