The Indie Booth O' Goodness will be booths 216, 218, and 220. Not bad at all. This placement is much much much better than where I was last year.
Our neighbors will be Hogshead and Synister on each end of the aisle and Ruth Thompson Tarnished Images and Black Dragon Press across the aisle from us.

Hmmmm!
Hogshead's good - gives us the Nobilis buzz and also a chance to demonstrate who's the "innovator" (I am grossly underwhelmed with Hogshead's claim to be all envelope-breaking).
Synister is a bit less so - they're loud and flashy, and I hate thumping music at a booth. Oh well.
But yes, the placement is much, much better. We were lookin' at the service doors last year, stuck between a lone guy selling Magic Cards and some weird company called (painfully) Slow Motion Games.
Best,
Ron

One possible problem: they mis-assigned Misguided Games. They have him listed at 236... but there's no 236 on the updated layout chart. I figured spot 135 (on the updated layout chart) was what they meant (he bought an endcap) but that spot is going to Keith Parkinson. I'm talking with Lewis right now, and we can't figure out where they meant.
This could be as simple as a typo on the committee's part... or it could be as complicated as a major shifting around. He's going to call them on Monday to figure out what's what. Since I haven't gone through and placed everyone, he may be one of many mis-assigned companies.

RE: Synister and Hogshead:
I assume it would be best if Key 20 took the 220 spot near Synister, then? ;)
Of course, if the Nobles and the Sorcerers get into it... there could be trouble.

Hey,
Word on the street is that the Jaffe Bros. are flaking out entirely. Since their "talking to" at GAMA, they haven't made good on any commitments, they owe people money, and they haven't really managed to communicate anything coherent to anyone.
So we may be looking at empty space on that side. Interesting ...
Best,
Ron

Hi there,
Latest news on the neighborhood: our new neighbors are XIG, which means glam not funk, and probably a little quieter. I really like these guys (and have prepped a Starchildren demo), so I think this is a good development.
Best,
Ron

Huh.
Well, XIG is cool. Are they taking up the entire end cap?

I don't know - good question. That's a lot of space for people who are running a real business rather than using up their trust fund.
Best,
