Dirty Secrets layout preview

My wife has been feverishly working on layout out Dirty Secrets, so I wanted to show off some of her work. This file is a preview of what we're working on. Some of the images still have watermarks, since we're going to buy everything in bulk and get a discount. Hooray for stock photography!

I'm really excited with how well this is coming together, and I wanted to brag on my wife for a bit. So, I figured that I'd share.

Seth, I pretty much suck.  I've done two playtests of this and been a TOTAL slacker and not gotten you any feedback.  Does this post mean it is too late?

On the plus side, I think Mikael (one of the players in the first playtest) has already spoken to you about most of the stuff that came up in the first one, and the second one generated little more comment other than "this is cool, when can we buy it" type feedback.  But still...I suck.  Let me know.

Yes and no.

Yes, it's too late, since the book is already laid out.  However, I've listened to the recording all the way through, and I'm pretty sure that I've addressed all the issues that were brought up in that playtest.

No, because if I actually missed anything, I can stash it for the revised edition that I'm planning on releasing in a couple of years.  I figured that, even with my best efforts, players would ask additional questions or find areas that were unclear.  So, in the book, I solicit feedback on the game.  If I use your feedback to improve the revised edition, you get 50% off the revised edition when I release it.

Also, quite honestly, all playtest reports act as prerelease AP, which helps promote the game.

So, all that to say, I'd still like to see playtest reports.  Post them in the Playtest forum and then stick a link in the Dirty Secrets playtest thread.  Feel free to link to the audio, too.

Ben was right, by the way.  The fact that he acknowledged that he had fun was a win for me.  A hardcore HERO gamer who doesn't like the genre was able to enjoy the game...that's a powerful testament.

Ah, of course.  *ahem* Yes, I knew that Mikael had *ahem* sent the entire recording *ahem* to you and was taking that into account *ahem*.

I'm glad that he did, because he saved me from total suckage, through no effort of my own.  Good, that was the playtest I did that really had the feedback I think you needed.

The second one I did was just last Saturday: I will post it as described, for your future benefit and for advertising.
