I have a couple of websites that I'm currently hosting on my home machine.  I want to change that situation, and I'd like to move those sites to a virtual server with a local hosting company that I trust (okay, honestly, I do some freelance work for these guys, so I'm biased).  The trick is that virtual servers are kind of expensive for an individual, so I'd like to split the hosting cost with a few people.

I'm planning on installing Drupal on the server to run my own sites.  You can see my installation of Drupal at http://www.lazarusid.com.  The ecommerce module that I'm already using, and thus would already be installed on the machine, is ideal for an indie publisher.  It has direct integration with PayPal, so as soon as the customers pay their money they can create an account and download their files.  It also has things like forums, in case you'd like to run your own forums or don't have them here.

Don't let the current speed of my server be an issue in your decision.  My home machine appears to be under a denial of service attack at the moment.  A site more representative of the available speed would be http://www.wildhauskennels.com/drupal or http://www.lighttherapyonline.com/ which are hosted by the same company and using the same software.

That's an eminently serviceable idea techwise, by the by. If I didn't already have all my web-related needs satisfied by other arrangements, I'd definitely be interested.
