I'v designed The Other, a free 5 page horror game, which I have zipped in it's text only form. I'v got a volunteer working on pdf's of the character sheets (3 questionaire's actually) which I plan on zipping into a new version of the game. I'd love to have a pdf version of the main five page document to go along with it. I can email you the text file, tell you the url of where it's posted, or you can download the zip version on the 4chan rapidshares if you search for "the other rpg".

I don't need any graphics or anything like that, just would like my text document converted into pdf, because people who showed interest in the game when I made the text zip available asked for it.

It's a freeware game and you'll get credit in the document if you do it, but it's not a paying gig, which is why I'm not seeking art or anything like that. Just a little bit of computer mojo that I'm incapable of.

Coyote,

You can do the thing for yourself incredibly easily.  Download Open Office from http://www.openoffice.org.  It exports to PDF for all document types.

Clay's right, and you can make your game nice looking with a bit of work as well with Open Office. Not that I or somebody else can't do it for you, if you want.

Also note that it's infinitely more preferable to put all of your materials into one pdf which you don't zip. The zipping doesn't make a web-optimized pdf file any smaller, and not zipping it not only allows search engines to index it, but also saves the end-user the bother of unzipping. And it's just as easy to print the character sheets from an united pdf as it is from a separate file.

Well I'v gotten all the handout pdfs in, so I'm ready to make my ultimate zipped version. I did download that Open Office but it didn't function on my computer (said I didn't have the appropriate OS to install it, which is odd considering I use XP).

So, if you would convert it to pdf, Eero, I'd be very grateful. I suppose, since you'v stated the merits of such, if you can consolidate the handout pdf's into the new pdf with the main text document that would be quite cool too; though personally I'm fine with just having all pdf's to put in my zipped version.

If you don't want to put your email out on a forum board, you can email me at nicholasdowbiggin@yahoo.com and I'll send you the materials.
