One of the games we played at the Nittany Game Invasion was With Great Power.  The American showed up as a player character as the 'Fighting Governor' trying to keep his family safe, his secrets hidden, and villains off his furniture.  One of the changes we used from the rules as written was to have the villains use one 'conflict tracker' when fighting the heroes, rather than a separate tracker for each.  This worked well, and made the combat progress much quicker than in previous games I've played.  I've posted an audiofile of the game at the Internet Library, for anyone interested:
