Judging for the CAH Contest
Entries for the CAH contest so far have been plentiful and, well, extremely cool. You guys have very strong imaginations! :)
Anyway, I wanted to give you more details on how the winner will be selected.
First, we're assembling a panel of seven neutral judges. Naturally, these folks aren't allowed to submit entries for the contest. And, no, we will not reveal who the judges are.
There are four categories that each entry will be judged on;
Originality: How unique or different your series premise and execution is.
Presentations: Looks aren't everything, but they certainly can help.
1980s-ness: This is a measure of how well the series would've fit in during the '80s.
Entertainment Value: How much fun this series would be to play or run.
Entries will be given a rating by each judge for these categories. Here's how the rating scale works out;
0: Practically non-existant.
1-3: Poor
4-6: Fair
7-9: Good
10-12: Very Good
13-15: Great
16-18: Stellar!!
Once the judges rate the entries, they will email them to me. I'll add them all up myself. The entry with the highest total will win the grand prize. The entry with the second highest total is the runner-up.

Would you be willing to accept a late-70s entry? THE FUNKY FUTURE SQUAD is turning out to be very much a work of its time...

Send it in, and we'll take a look at it. :-)
