Pronunciation - Khale

All,
  I got conflicting feedback.
A lot of people say it rhymes with "ale" and that makes sense.
But, in the book it seems to indicate khaleans that the "e" is pronounced likw the "ay" in bay.
What do you guy think "kalay" or "kale"?

What part in the book indicates that in your opinion?

I would say 'Kale' (rhyming with ale), but I would say 'kalayan' to describe something from Khale.

that is exactly how I would handle it: Keep the 'e' at the end silent, unless the syllable '-an' is added.

Personally I would say Kah-lay, if that might matter. .-)
