I've got the sorcery section rewrite, and the updated beat & stop short manuevers. Now that the second edition's coming out, is there any other errata?

Off the top of my head, not really. There are a bunch of spelling improvements, and a slight modification in Movement rates, but that's it as far as I remember. I'll be assembling a PDF with those 3 things and putting it up shortly. I hope.

Jake

ps. If any of you with both editions notice something else along those lines, let me know.

Did you redo the wrestling/grappling descriptions? These were probably the hardest things for me to get about the combat rules.

Btw, you asked about things for the website in another thread, so I'll be impolite and answer here. :-)

I'd suggest an FAQ as your first objective after errata. You need to start it soon, and then build it over time. I would break it into sections that parallel the book, and include things that people tend to miss along with other questions.

Another thing I'd like to see is "combat rulings for dummies". For example, the book says some manuevers may be appropriate for other weapons (e.g, the thread about staffs & half-swording). I would include very common situations that you don't cover in the rules, and more examples of combats, especially complicated ones.

P.S. I can't stress the latter enough. Your book is in general distribution, which means tons of people who have no knowledge of melee (or worse, a little knowledge, like me and my one fencing semester). I know this would help me a lot.

Good idea for the web. Yes, I did re-write the grappling instructions so that they flow better now. I'll add that to the errata.
