Greetings
Hello everyone, I thought i should be kind enough to announce my presance here to everyone. As you may have heard, Lyrax is running a game of TROS and he has a sorcerer in his party, I play that role. I am also lending assistance is furthering the storyline by acting as assistant GM. so the sole purpose of this message is to say hello and that i might be mucking about here occasionally, spying on what Lyrax and you all are doing to make my Character sweat. Later.

I'm new here too. I 've had my copy of TROS for all of 3 days and I can't wait to give it a shot. I've been happily using Columbia Games' HârnMaster for my Hârn games (you can tell I'm a Hârn freak cause I take the time to do the alt code for â - true dork), but TROS looks more like my kind of game! Not sold on it 100%, but I'm optomistic. I just now ordered $25 worth of dice from Chessex and plan to run my first combat trials this weekend. Great fun. I tell ya, I haven't been this excited about an RPG since I got into HârnMaster back in 97. I feel like this game was written just for me. I think it will work great with Hârn, too, even if I have to change the Shek P'var to suit TROS' magic system.
BTW, no avatars on this forum?

Hey-
Welcome aboard. Glad to see us Riddle-types a'growing. No avatars on the Forge, and a much higher percentage of "real names" as opposed to handles or the like. But it's no pressure. Come as you are.
Oh, and $25 of dice! Yikes!

Glad to have you aboard. BTW I love your Harn site, the D&D conversion is excellent and combined with Ken Hood Grim N Gritty rules makes D&D into a much better game.
I do think TROS would be great for Hârn but instead of scrapping the Pavaric magic I would adapt it to TROS and scrap the existing magic system.
Its not my cup of tea
YMMV and welcome to the Forge

Greetings and Salutations!
Hello all! I'm also new here.. just picked up my copy of TRoS last night! So far (after staying up /way/ too late reading), it looks like it more than deserves the "hype" (if it's true.. is it hype?) attributed to it. I can't wait to start playing!

Well, I'm half real name, half handle. A hybrid!
Oh, and $25 of dice! Yikes!
25 red d10's, 25 white d10's, 12 red d6's from Chessex. Plus shipping.

You know at Origins that would have cost about $6...:-)
