We urgently need covert art for our game convention's printed program. We're not interested in taking away your copyright or even directing your creativity - we want you to solicit us with art you find suitable and which you've already produced!
Here are the specs:
• Colour or black & white, though colour is preferred
• Resolution decent for 8.5" x 5.5" print (wrap-around 8.5" x 11" landscape will be considered as well!)
• Must be possible to incorporate convention title (Hammercon 2009) in image
• Any kind of fantasy theme is suitable - not too dark or moody
• See our website and event listing for more inspiration: http://www.hammercon.ca and http://www.hammercon.ca/events
And details of our deal with you:
• We need to print your art on the cover of our convention program, which will be produced in quantity no less than 100 and no more than 200
• We would like to include your art in a program PDF freely downloadable from our website
• We will prominently attribute you in the program and include any provided links to your web gallery or company website
• We will not lay any claim of copyright extending beyond the production and distribution of the up to 200 printed programs and possibly PDF copy in question
• We may hire you for additional work (logo production, layout, original artwork creation etc) in subsequent years
• We will pay you up to $50 USD for artwork we find suitable, immediately upon acceptance (PayPal transfer preferred)
Please send your low-res suggestions ASAP to:
info@hammercon.ca
Looking forward to seeing your masterpieces!

Good idea Mikael
I will have to buttonhole you for ideas (like this) on how to get Ice-O-Hedron going in Toronto next year
(too much on my plate this year)
