I've actually never played DiTV before so spare me if I sound like a noob. Could someone explain to me the difference between the two editions, if there are any differences?

Let's see. Back in 2004, I called it the first edition or the GenCon edition or something. There are a couple hundred first edition books out there in the world. For 2005 I added illustrations and did a new layout. I call that the illod edition. The vast majority of books out there are illod ed; it's been the only version of the game available since 2005.

If you have the unillustrated book, email me and I'll set you up with the current PDFs.

The illod ed does have a couple of pretty important, if small, textual additions. Let's see if I can find them...

Ah! Here: DitV2: New Text. Also here: DitV2: New Rules!

(Please don't post to those threads, they're ancient.)
